About Me

I was a contestant on Americas Got Talent, in which shaped me to be Darya Abtahi. I am an individual that tries to seek every opportunities that interests me in so that I always have a story to share, this is mine. I am a junior at the University of Arizona studying Business Management and minors in Film/Television and Global Business. I have always been fascinated about the back and frontend of the entertainment industry. My audition with Americas Got Talent, opened up my perspective on how complex the business side to entertainment is. Since high school I have always partnered with local companies to further market them which now have landed me opportunities with NBC Universal Ambassador Program, Samsung, and Amazon.

Specifically at the University of Arizona I have involved myself by being heavily involved within my business school as I am the Vice President of the Deans Council (student government), President of the Business of Entertainment club where I have brought in many guests from the music industry to network with, and a Tour Guide. I would like to use my degree alongside my Film/Television and Global Business minors, to understand consumer behaviors within the entertainment industry on a national and global scale; with an emphasis on ensuring equal representation of ethnic groups within the music industry. #Iranian-American
